Global Concrete Lifting

Mudjacking Services

Mudjacking - also called slabjacking or pressure grouting - is the original concrete lifting method. A cement-based slurry is pumped beneath your sunken slab through small drill holes, filling the void and raising the concrete back to level.

Global Concrete Lifting connects you with experienced mudjacking contractors who restore sunken driveways, sidewalks, patios, and garage floors - typically at 50-70% less than replacement.

What Mudjacking Includes

1

Drilling 1-2 Inch Holes

Small holes are drilled through the sunken slab at strategic intervals. Mudjacking holes are slightly larger than polyjacking holes, but still much less invasive than replacement.

2

Slurry Injection

A cement, sand, and water mixture is pumped at high pressure beneath the slab. The slurry fills voids and compacts loose soil, creating a stable base as it lifts.

3

Precision Lifting

Your contractor monitors the lift with laser levels to achieve the exact target height. The heavy slurry provides excellent stability and resistance to further settling.

4

Hole Patching

Drill holes are filled and sealed to match the surrounding concrete surface.

When Mudjacking Is the Right Choice

  • Budget-conscious projects where cost is the primary factor
  • Thick concrete slabs (6 inches or more)
  • Areas where heavy loads require maximum stability
  • Properties with large areas of settlement
  • Projects where polyurethane foam is not available locally
